ABOUT MY PLACE PEDIATRICS

Hi, I’m Dr. Sheila Tann. As a certified Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Mental Health Specialist, I’m honored to provide quality medical care for kids who see the world differently, who learn in different ways, who develop at their own pace, who experience their emotions at a deeper level. That’s why I partner with families to help these uniquely wonderful children live comfortably. I also help them harness their potential to achieve the goals. I am very mindful of the challenges these children face in their school, social, and emotional lives, and I am here to help them navigate their world with confidence and strength.

I have a doctorate degree in nursing and have worked as an advanced practice nurse for over 20 years; I have practiced in pediatrics for the last 15 years. My clinical interests include caring for children with ADHD, Depression and Anxiety, and other Neurodevelopmental Disorders, such as Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, developmental delay, and cognitive disabilities. Compassion and professionalism are the cornerstones of my practice.

I'm also a firm believer that health care should be convenient and accessible. The advent of telehealth and virtual visits has bridged the gap and has now provided an avenue for more patient-centered care delivery, regardless of where you live in Colorado, or what challenges you used to face to get your child to a care provider.
